Now Is The Time

There is something God wants you to do this moment and every moment. A moment from now may be too late. Blessedly, it is always just one step at a time. I know there have been multitudes of occasions when my procrastination caused a failure. Too late is often useless.

Psalms 38:22: Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

The Psalmist often prayed for the Lord to make haste and we do too. We get it backwards. We should make haste to seek His will and get into it. We should make haste to serve Him. When God makes haste to help us, we should make haste to accept His help. If there is any waiting to be done, it is us waiting upon the Lord. We are not important enough to make Him wait for anything.

Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

We ought to pay close attention to what happens to those who wait upon the Lord, what they will do and when they will do it. They shall renew their strength, mount up, run and walk and they will do those things on His time schedule.

Psalms 31:15: My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Psalms 69:13: But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

Esther 4:14: For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father*s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Hebrews 3:7: Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Hebrews 4:7: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Job 14:5: Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

Job 24:1: Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

Ecclesiastes 3:1: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
